Belleville is a product of a simple love story:

Mainer meets Frenchie, who marry and together dream of opening a bakery. They move to Paris, learn to bake, and eventually settle in Mainer’s hometown to raise a family and open a bakery. A historic storefront at the top of Munjoy Hill becomes available and the dream becomes real.

Belleville opened its doors in October 2017. The bakery focuses on laminated pastry and pizza.
